#OperationDreamCloset Update

This weekend I started on my dream closet again. I’ve been working on it for a while and it’s coming along but I’m not ready to share the entire project yet. 🙂 Here is what happened this weekend. I purchased new matching hangers. I chose the non-slip ones from Costco because 1. they were inexpensive ($10/35) and 2. I can’t stand when things slip off the hanger. This weekend I managed to empty six boxes and put them on the closet rod. I will actually put clothes on them at some point. I’ve been really exhausted lately. I could take a nap right now actually.
I also conquered the task of lining my accessories drawer with this pretty pink scrapbook paper.  You may recall me posting it ages ago on IG.
LOVE IT! I only used two 12×12 inch sheets, making it was a VERY inexpensive detail to add. Like less than $2.
Doesn’t it look fab?
For now, I have no interest in pulling up the tape and laminating it but I thought about it and I think it will make it last a long time. I don’t keep anything sharp in the drawers so I can’t imagine it will ruin. I probably just jinxed myself.
I don’t know when I started to like pink again but I thought it was a good idea to buy pink washi tape.
I made these labels for each section of the closet. I’m really looking forward to installing these because when Hubs and I take turns doing laundry, we put things in different areas. This will give him a guide as to where I want my things to go. He still keeps my knickers color coordinated (HERE).
((Dear iphone: get your shiz together and take a decent photograph. Thanks.))
Here is a better photograph with my DSLR. Thank heavens.
Only a few more things to do in here before it’s ready for me to share!
To Do
Hang art
Purse storage
Add label holders
