FYI: Lura doesn’t do IVs. She HATES NEEDLES and feels it’s necessary to speak in third person to prove her point. This was a very sore IV, I swear she pushed the wrong plastic piece in further than it needed to be.
Let’s back up to Thursday. I was out running errands. Buying stuff for the house and projects *which I am now WAYYY behind on schedule…good thing I make my own schedule* As I’m driving home, I start to get really really dizzy. I had a migraine (typical these days) but I hadn’t been getting dizzy. I quickly pulled over and Hubs had to come get me. I decided to come straight home and take meds and go to bed. I woke up the next morning still with a migraine but I wasn’t dizzy. I got dressed for work and drove to work. When I parked, I started to feel funny but I made it into the office. I turned on my computer and started going through my email. I started to get REALLY sweaty, blurry vision, nauseous and dizzy. I called Hubs and he took me to the hospital. After waiting for 7 hours (one thing I learned in that ER, if you want to be seen quicker, yell like an idiot, question the front desk a million times or throw up to be seen quicker…yes I understand the level or priority for emergency). I was finally seen, EKG, CT scan (dreading that bill even with insurance) and given some really strong medicine via IV. I was then sent home to rest and take more meds and a referral to a specialist.
After getting meds, I requested Hubs take a photo. I’m still HOOOD. Check out that dragon hair. PS I’m not wearing any pants.
Saturday I wake up feeling somewhat normal, until I sit up and my migraine was back/never went away. Sunday, same scenario but I refused to sit and do nothing. I worked on my super easy projects and watched Hubs brew beer.
I worked on our Valentine’s Day mantle. Basically putting THIS PRINT into a frame.
I finished sewing this little beauty. By pushing a few buttons on my sewing machine.
Currently, I’m off work today. Watching the 2013 Presidential Inauguration while there are a million things I should be doing.
I did manage to do a few things. I added the Pinterest Instant Pin to the blog photos. Feel free to play with it and pin a few photos. Thanks Darby for sharing this TUTORIAL.
I also added the FB Like Widget to the sidebar. EASY 3 STEP TUTORIAL. Thanks to Honey We’re Home for sharing this. I was just about to pay someone to add this widget. You saved me some $$. If you don’t already, go like me FB page.
I could really use some Starbucks. I wish they delivered–can’t drive as of yet. Hopefully that will change this afternoon. Well, it will HAVE to change because I have to work tomorrow and I’m no Blair Waldorf who has a personal driver. I’m not sure I could live like that. I like to drive. Hubs says I’m a scary driver. Anywho, I’m off to SOS–sit on sofa.
Happy Monday and Happy Belated Birthday to my friend Kristen.
