Here is a sampling of our engagement pictures! Thanks to Michaelle at Tresor Photography, we have AMAZING engagement photos. If you live in the Houston area you should have her take your photos! When (much LATER in life) we decide to procreate, Michaelle will be doing our baby photos/maternity shots!
With my huge imagination, I wanted so much in an engagement session. We had Michaelle going all over Houston–she was so easy to work with and even waited a few hours to get this awesome shot of the Waterwall at night (however–the stupid lights never came on). Anywho I loved the experience and LOVE our photos (even though I was about 20 pounds heavier here…rough time rough time). Enjoy
We started out at Memorial Park to take a few photos by the golf course and running track (where we spent a lot of our time at the moment).
Next we went to the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center and walked through the woods
Please note our lovely matching Sperrys–which I no longer have because a certain four-legged mass ate them!
From there, we changed in the restroom and headed to Washington Ave. for a lovely recreation of my favorite painting by Jack Vettriano–Back Where You Belong. This painting basically sums up our relationship because we were long distance for quite some time. It felt like forever and whenever we were together it was “back where WE belong”
Amazing right?!?! I know!!!!
From here we went back to our apartment for an outfit change and took a few shots there. I think it’s always important to get photos in a place where you are most comfortable–what better place than where you live?
Then we headed over to the Waterwall. If you haven’t been here you need to go. While we were there someone was getting married–clearly our engagement photos were more important so we had them move.. JK JK JK.
My favorite shot!!!
Please note that Hubs was NOT a fan of balloon holding. What a sport.
