How many times do you use your ruler in a week? If you are a crafter, that number is probably larger than you care to admit. I use my ruler a lot! I was constantly finding myself reaching for it so I decided to make one using my Silhouette Cameo.
It has been so handy having a ruler close by for projects. I haven’t had to use my actual ruler in a long time.
And guess what? I’m sharing the cut file with you so you can have your own!

Here she is in action waiting for something to measure.
Supplies
12″x 24″ Gold Metallic Indoor Vinyl
Transfer Tape or Blue Painter Tape
Instructions
Save cut file.
Cut file (I use a cut blade at a level 2).
Weed excess vinyl.
Place transfer tape over weeded design. Tip: Run your finger over the design to ensure it is adhered before lifting.
Slowly lift the transfer tape at a 45 degree angle.
Starting with one end, lay the decal down onto the desired surface.
Once the entire design is in place, press your fingers over the design before slowly removing the transfer tape at a 45 degree angle.
There we go. All finished! If you end up making one, make sure you share on social media using the hashtag
