Southern Cornbread Dressing

Southern Cornbread Dressing

Summer  invited us to her house this year and cooked for us. Here is her recipe. ***** Southern Cornbread Dressing She adapted this recipe from a few recipes that I’ve tried and I think it is fantastic. I typically don’t measure the ingredients so I’ll just say to mix everything until it taste right. You aren’t going to mess it up. 1 pkg frozen Mirepoix

Easy Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

Easy Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

Work is crazy, school is crazy, it’s the holidays and I’d rather sleep than cook/clean/work/do school work. With that said, I’ve discovered a new quick and easy way to add a little flavor to plain potatoes.  Add a few sprigs of fresh rosemary to raw potatoes in a covered dish. Place them in the fridge until you are ready to cook them. Thank you Grace for

Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

Since we’ve moved into the new house, we’ve been making our own pizzas on the regular. The foundation of any great pizza is a great crust–crispy crust is our fave! We thankfully have a KitchenAid mixer so all of the kneading is done for us.  Ingredients 1 package dry yeast (active) 1 cup warm water 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use about 1/4 teaspoon) 2 teaspoons

Healthy Ranch Dressing

Hiii! Who loves ranch dressing/dip?!? I do I do!!! Here is a healthier option for you. I chose strained greek yogurt because I like thicker dressings because I dip my vegetables in it, but if you want more liquid dressing, go with plain yogurt its a little thinner. Ingredients Large container of yogurt Hidden Valley Ranch pack. Mix the two ingredients together completely and chill.

Peppermint Bark Recipe

This is my favorite holiday treat! PEPPERMINT BARK! I may or may not have even most of it… but hey I still lost weight over the holiday. I’m ok with that. And because I ate most of it for some reason, I didn’t take a photo of the finished product all broken in a cute bowl but I did photograph the process. Ingredients, two big bags

Whole Wheat Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

Whole Wheat Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls

So badly am I tempted weekly at the grocery store by the rolls of heavenly goodness aka these little babies. If I didn’t have to get milk and yogurt, I’d bypass this section of the store all together to resist the temptation. They are loaded with bad fats, sugars and sodium 🙁 They aren’t the most horrible thing we could have but why eat them
