For me, nothing says Fall quite like hanging a beautiful wreath on the front door. Wreaths are typically hung on the front door as a sign of welcome to guests. Fall wreaths are my favorite because they are usually full of texture and a warm kaleidoscope of color. The following wreaths that I’ve hand selected really make me miss home and how to leaves change colors (us Houstonians don’t really get to experience that).
My mom has been busy back in Virginia creating the perfect Fallscape, starting with this beautiful wreath. Can you believe she made this? Now we all see where I get my talent.

I had her walk me through the process so I could share with you. I’ve compiled all of the supplies that she used to make it easier for you to make your own.
She started with this twig wreath for the base. Using a hot glue gun she secured the pumpkins and pine cones to the wreath base. Make sure you spread those loosely. Spacing doesn’t have to be exact. Have fun with it.
Next, use the leaves to fill in the spaces between the pumpkins and cones. After that, add the pheasant feathers into the mix. Keep the feathers going in one direction because it looks better. Clockwise is my personal preference. After that, add in the smaller embellishments.
